// PROJECT NOTES // This project was an expansion of La Jolla Presbyterian Church which included a remodel of the existing Kirk House, two new two-story administration and classroom buildings, a library, and two levels of subterranean parking. KMA created a design that was sympathetic to the existing structures and blended seamlessly with the surrounding residential neighborhood, while meeting the functional requirements of the congregation. The new facilities also included a "Fellowship Hall" capable of seating over 800 people, complete with food service facilities, offices and administration spaces, classrooms, a library, a music rehearsal rooms, and a state-of-the-art audio/visual system with built-in projection equipment and theatrical lighting. |
