Pacifica Tower, designed for Pacifica Companies of San Diego, is a mixed-use for-sale residential project proposed for the western portion of a full city block which is also the site of an existing hotel. The project is conceived as an opportunity to integrate urban townhomes, loft-style living units and street-level commercial/ retail units (proposed) with an operating hotel in an emerging urban community.

 

The project consists of 171 for-sale residential units and 8000 SF of street level commercial space. Units are distributed primarily in a 19-story tower and also in the 2 stories of townhomes which wrap the parking the structure are above the street-level commercial. Parking for residents and guests, hotel guests and commerical users in provided on 4 levels underground.

 

Shared amenities with the hotel include an existing outdoor swimming pool (locked and gated for safety) and fitness center located at the proposed courtyard plaza level. A public plaza level separates the residential building from the hotel is accessed from street (public) as well as through the residential entrance lobby (private). Extensive landscaping and seating is proposed for the plaza, and the plaza level can be seen as an outdoor extension of the hotel (public) and residential (private) lobbies. BACK ยป
