Monaco, designed for Ghods Builders of Toronto, is a 40 story (500 foot tall) high rise mixed-use commercial/retail, residential project to be located on Broadway in downtown San Diego. The project contains approximately 540,000 gross square feet consisting of 316 residential units, street level retail and 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor commercial spaces in the podium, and underground parking for 356 cars. As a result of view corridor requirements along Broadway the tower is very slender, resulting in an elegant and sophisticated massing.
