MISSION BREWERY II

Brewery4

Mission Brewery II, designed for Pacifica Companies of San Diego, is a mixed-use for-sale residential project proposed for the site located immediately to the west of the existing Mission Brewery Plaza creative office complex. The project is conceived as an opportunity to integrate urban townhomes and loft style living units and street level commercial/retail units (proposed) with underground parking (proposed), a successful creative office complex (existing), and an existing trolley station to create a true mixed-use, transit-oriented, urban community. The proposed development consists of 89 for-sale residential units, 16 Hancock St. commercial/retail units and 1 corner commercial/restaurant space.

Residential units are a mix of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units. Units are organized into three-story “clusters” which are repeated to form two blocks oriented parallel to Hancock Street. The cluster concept allows for a variety of unit configurations that maximize the passage of light and air as well as providing a variety of views. The two blocks define an inner courtyard on axis with the existing Mission Brewery which connects the residential development to the office complex to the east and the proposed Sutherland St. public park and amenities to the west. All units have individual exterior entrances opening onto Hancock street, the interior courtyard, or private terrace spaces. BACK »
