KMA’s design is incorporating sustainable technologies and practices, including energy efficient roofing systems, water efficient landscaping, low-flow plumbing fixtures, construction waste management, use of recycled and regionally processed and manufactured materials and daylighting through the use of translucent panels.
All designs for the $31 million project will meet national antiterrorism requirements as well as the standards maintained by Nellis Air Force Base.
The KMA project team consists of Don Blair and Joyce Peabody. The structural engineer is CYS Structural Engineers Inc. and the civil engineer is Stanley Consultants.
