“KMA’s experience in government projects proved valuable in helping us understand the nature of the DEA’s work and the organization’s building requirements,” said Don Blair, president of KMA. “We were able to deliver a building that was both high quality and high security.”
The two-story, 30,000-square-foot project located on Alex Muxo Jr. Blvd. includes Class A commercial tenant improvements, and the addition of high-security measures for Anti Terror Force Protection including an indoor parking garage.
KMA’s numerous U.S. government projects have included work for the Army Corp of Engineers, General Services Administration, Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense, as well as for cities and counties nationwide.
The KMA project team was comprised of Don Blair, Neville Willsmore, Walt Chambers, Jim Belmont and Jay Guerrero; Meridian Construction was the general contractor; and Associates in Architecture and Planning served as the associate architect.
